How will Ferari spoil their chances at Hockenheim?

  1. Crash on the recon lap

  2. Lazy start when the lights go out

  3. Foolish first lap incident

  4. Poor tactical strategy

  5. Problems during the pitstop

  6. Trouble with back markers

  7. Drive thru penalty

  8. Mechanical failure

  9. Other (please specify)

How will they mangage to screw it all up tomorrow? Because it is inevitible that they're going to, right. ;) :D

Since there are two drivers to account for, I made this a multiple choice poll.

I vote "other". I think it will have something to do with weather, although technically you could call that pit strategy. But, it's bigger than that -- a spin in water when you have the wrong tires, shooting past the pit, crashing into someone from behind, etc.

    So, I vote weather related.

Alonso so will drop to 7th because of a poor start, will blame flying bunnies.

Then it will rain, Massa will go wide in T1, T6 and T8. Couple of spins.

Ahhh - I totally forgot to include the choice:

"When you have a 1-2 finish in hand, ruin the mood with crappy team orders."

I thought they'd at least learned their lesson on that one. :(

I'll just sit here hoping for another Alonso reliability issue I guess.

There's nothing wrong with team orders in itself (and I'm a Massa fan, not an Alonso one), but rules are rules and I'm afraid they won't get away with it.

When is everyone going to get over this whole team orders jazz. At the end of the day it's what's best for the teams chances to get maximum points. What if Alonso loses the championship at the end of the year because he stayed in second behind Massa today?
Sorry, he was the faster car and Massa is way behind in the points. I guess everyone would be happy if Alonso attempted a pass on Massa and both out due to a collision.

There are plenty of other good results that were missed out on this season which will cost Alonso the championship besides the 7 points he'd have lost today by remaining in second place. First place in a Formula One race should never be handed to anyone - they should have to earn it and today Alonso didn't deserve the victory and he knows it.

If he was faster than Massa he should have passed him fair and square. If he couldn't get that done cleanly then he wasn't faster. The lap times don't lie either - he was never fast enough to overtake without the order that was given.

Nice to see you have to eat your words, regardless of the team orders thing. I don't feel team orders is wrong, and a 1-2 finish at this point of the season is awesome for the team even with the 100.000 fine.

I hope the Scuderia screw up like this the rest of the season ! Clearly we've made a giant step forward and Redbull is on notice, and Macca will fade into oblivion the second half.

Nice to see you have to qualify your statement with a 'regardless' there.

It remains to be seen whether the $100,000 fine is the only penalty the Scuderia will incur for their lapse in judgement today.

You can keep cheering, for now...

You are a huge ****** bag.
The drivers work for the good of the team, not the other way around. McClaren have never used team orders?
Alonso was faster period. Massa moved aside (not pretty, but it was what was best for the team).

You can keep being a ******, for now.....

i for one hope they dont screw up like this any more.
they may possibly lose todays points completely or suffer next weekend.
its too bad massa didnt concede the position on his on without the radio transmission. i like massa a lot and respect his results but in reality he is not in the running for the driver title this year

I watched a sporting event where the drivers where not allowed to compete.

When a race is won off the track... it turns the event into a staged affair, rather than a sport.

The only people who lost today, were the fans who wanted to see a race.

So stop watching, I doubt F1 will miss you. It was only a matter of time before Alonso got by Massa as he was far faster...Ferrari was just avoiding a potential Red Bull if the slower Massa would take out Alonso.

Team orders have been happening in F1 for ages, don't try to act like this is the first time...
