Probably comes in a yellow box with little black horses on it.

This is what makes owning an older ferrari a mixed bag....

Personally, I (perhaps unfortunately) don't possess the nerve to ask someone to pay me $1,000 for a little bit of foam rubber. But, that's just me.

Looks like a job for Verell. Molding foam rubber isn't that complicated. And, I would that that for $500+ a piece that might just be "economically feasible" to produce......

For a part that he does not have and has not had for a long time.

I'll make you a great deal on all sorts of parts I don't have.

That part is. Daniel tried exhaustively and came up empty. It is a more complex piece to make than most understand.

That is the right front seal for an older 308. My '78 has one that looks identical to that with the corners molded together with the front door rubber.

I think it was on the later cars the they were separated. Not sure if the two are interchangeable or not??

Do you have some direct knowledge of molding foam rubber?
I haven't been able to find any info on doing it on a small scale, just big heated metal molds with controlled injection of inert gasses along with the rubber. Great for Detroit, but not for running off a few pieces at a time.

I'd be willing to make them If i could get enough info on mold construction, & rubber materials to get me started.

Daniel and I spoke about this a while back.

My research showed one has to REALLY want that part to justify the mold and production cost's to make what...... 10-20 pieces? You can even justify heating up the molds to run less than that and 1/2 of them would collect dust on a shelf for years before the next batch is needed.

Hard to find, nope. Impossible to find.... maybe on a dare.
