I'll assume the gatherers will be meeting at various locations to form a chain for the annual pilgramage to our Mecca. May I offer suggestions 1) leave Gbury at 9:00 headed for Farmington Route 4 across from DD. 2) leave Farmington 9:15 headed for Burlington Routes 4 and 69 DD. 3) leave Burlington 9:30 headed for Torrington... 4) Torrington...we can stop here around 10:00 if anyone wants to join us but otherwise will continue on to LRP. Arrival at the park around 10:30 There are a few ways to defeat the traffic at the park. The best way involves fairly poor road surfaces and a steep (read spoiler unfriendly) incline. Second best does not defeat all that much traffic. Third best hasn't been driven in many years. I'm not confident about the surfaces. Erin and Mike have offered to transport my EZ Up awning. I expect to set it up at the top of the hill overlooking the paddock entrance but am willing to consider another location. Problem is people arriving Friday take all the good spots overlooking the esses.
Not sure who is leading the Gbury group. Mike is in NY and will meet us at the Park. Anyone want to step up?
Not sure yet. If someone steps up to lead, I'll catch you guys in Farmington...If not then I'll be there. Mike may be switching his plans, we'll see. I met up with Erin today to hand off my EZ Up so we WILL have shade. But everyone should BRING WATER... ***LOTS OF WATER***

It's 3:30 a.m. and I am back in S. GBury. The wife and I drove all the way back from Rochester, N.Y. so we can take the 348 in the caravan to Lime Rock. Who is meeting in Gbury at 8:30? Lane will you be there, be great if you were! Off to bed. --Mike
