Take a look at what shows up at a South Texas stock water tank in dry weather. For those of you that have never hunted in South Texas , sometimes we post motion detector cameras at our feeders/tanks to see what is going on.
Check out this sequence at a water tank.

We have a mountain lion, deer, a goat maybe, badger, cougar, fox, owl, a couple wild boar, and three more future democrats...

...And for those who want to paint me with a brush saying, I hate Mexicans or something, you are too shallow in the head to understand what I'm actually posting. I am however poking fun of our "secure" boarder and the lack of respect had by those who cross our boarders to deliver their dope and smuggle themselves into our country and our state ILLEGALLY while shooting at our boarder agents without reprisal! ...Do it the old fashion way, do it legally, do it with honor and then people will respect you and pay you what your worth!

I had to switch browsers for the photos to load for some reason.

Pretty cool shots! The thing that looks like a badger is actually a coatimundi!

They are imported and can be bought. There used to be an exotic animal pet shop off of 59 here in Houston that sold them.

They weren't outragishly expensive, but they have to have a specific diet, otherwise they have some type stomach/chemical issue that can kill them.

I looked at buying one in the late 90's for fun. They are pretty different.

What kind of smallish "big-cat" w/ the spots & snubby tail is that in the pic denoted as 03/2209 11:22 PM Chipper?

This particular species of the Coatimundi is native to the Southwest (South Texas, Arizona, Sonoran Desert and down further south to Central America). It's the White-Nosed Coati.

It's a bobcat. They're extremely common throughout the entire US and Mexico.
