So far there is only one. The president of Wynn. They only had 3 allocated, not sure about the 3rd but the second will be delivered in mid Sept.

Be-fitting for the president of Wynn.

    Why hasn't Steve bought a 458 ?

It really sucks that nobody actually living in Las Vegas can buy a "brand new" Ferrari from Penske Wynn. Marc Schorr gets the first, second and sometimes third model of every new Ferrari (599, 430, California and now 458) that the dealership is allocated. He puts 20 miles on them and then sells/gives it back to the dealership to sell as used. I'm surprised Ferrari North America allows this. I know he's part owner of the dealership but c'mon, put your ego aside and let someone else have a shot at the top of the list. The dealership has only been allocated 3 for 2010 because they are mid pack in sales nationwide and have been for years. I think Schorr and Wynn have pissed off a lot of people over the years because they get the new cars first and this has hampered sales.

Maybe Criss Angel is the third one on the list in Vegas.

LOL! Very true..:) The car actually goes to his wife. She puts about 500 miles on them and gives it back to the dealer.

Where is the Cars and Coffee in Vegas? I'm going to be out there next week and would like to see the turnout compared to Colorado. Anything else car related happening the week of Aug 6th - 13th?

I saw 2 458s in Wynn Ferrari today. One yellow, one red. Both were sold, the red one had 'XS' personalized plates.

Beautiful car, stunning in person and totally worth the trip to see them...it really makes the F430 look old. The paint on both of them was surprisingly poor though. I could see scratch/buff marks and orange peel in both of them. The roof of the rossa corsa car looked especially bad.

They obviously wouldn't let you take any pics of them. Shame about the paint jobs. Very unlike Ferrari. I wonder what the problem is.

Nope, no pictures. If I was just there once I would have tried to sneak some with my phone, but I go there quite often to look around so I didn't want to get banned.

Maybe I should clarify...the paint was fine. If it was a GMC or Ford I wouldn't have even noticed. But I guess I expect Ferrari paint to be perfect....seems the buyer would have gladly paid an extra $500 to have someone spend a day colorsanding and buffing it prior to delivery.

This mentality might have been true under the old management team, that's why changes were made when Jerry Byrd came in as the new GM. I had purchased a couple of cars under the old 'regime' and the experience was interesting to say the least. But speaking as one who just purchased a new F 458 from this dealership, it certainly was a different experience this time around.

    Case in point....

I spoke with Tony in sales a few times about ordering a new 458, and while he couldn't make any promises he said he would keep me in mind. You could certainly imagine my surprise when a short time thereafter I received a call to come in and spec my car. I am by no means a 'special' person and have no friends in high places at the Wynn. I asked Tony how did I rate this car? He said they are just trying to take care of their customers in the local market who will drive these cars and appreciate them. You wouldn't have heard that a few years ago.

Anyone who has dealt with Rich in service knows he probably runs the best shop in the country, and now IMHO, the sales department is also top notch.

Anyway, thanks to all the guys there that made this possible, and my car should be in shortly.

Now let's give these guys a break !!!

According to another dealer who shall not be named, the Wynn dealer is not getting the same number of cars afforded to them as other dealers due to Beverly Hills Ferrari's affiliation directly with Ferrari (sort of a backdoor dealer as they own 20%) and their close proximity to Las Vegas and the amount of Beverly Hills Ferrari customers who reside in Las Vegas. They are def not seeing the lions share of cars though.
