Looking at how current balboni's are E-gear, I might actually sell my left leg for one! ;)

How about a cheaper alternative like Aston's Prime! Value for money! :D

Thats very good to hear. Mine is 430.

Hahaha, ok got your point. Its like buying insurance right but I also don't want to over insuranced!! :)

Hello Justin, the GT3 RS &F430 Spyder Justin???
Yup just got myself a F430 about a month ago and need to purchase the warranty by end Aug 2010. So can PM your "experience" why Power Cube is the way to go?

I don't track for few years already and dont intend to track this car but I do drive about 3-4 days a week. Average mileage per yr for me will be btw 8k to 10k km. Still very undecided. Definitely will buy some form of warranty is only a matter of which one.

The problem is even the Ital Service Advisor cannot clearly explain to difference in the warrnaty coverage btw the Power Cube and Power normal.

Cheers and thanks all for the sound advice!

Power Cude is simply an extension of the full new car warranty whilst Power Normal basically only covers major mechanical parts. For me owning a spider the cube has been a big help as I've had ALOT of issues with my leaking roof (yes it is leaking again!!) and I've had all the interior plastics and rubbers replaced, steering rods and suspension arms and a few other things done that would not have been covered by power Normal, & to date I haven't had any major issues that would have been covered by Power Normal alone. Justin had his gearbox issue which would have been covered under Power Normal though.

i think the scope of items covered under the warranty is pretty much determined by factory. when my car had f1shifting problem, hong seh initially said not covered but after some banging table /talk like lawyer, they/factory relented but even then some parts replaced still werent covered. had to pay to get my car out (albeit "under protest"). imo, cube not worth the 8k but really, who knows when something catastrophic may happen. even then ,watch out for the "normal wear n tear" argument- the warranty aint as comprehensive as it seems unfortunately.
