Some people dont seem to like Alonso being with the Scuderia team. I think hes doing alright considering the car hasnt been that good. If and I mean if he was let go by Ferrari, who would you like to see replace him? Or maybe you would like to se Alonso stay.

I would not want to see this but I would think most Ferrari fans would want Hamilton.

Hands down, I'd go for Robert Kubica.

Of the current crop of F1 drivers Kubica, Vettel and Rosberg could all fill the seat in my mind. Sutil might be another contender.

Alonso is the best other than Hamilton (who isn't coming to Ferrari). After Alonso I'd take Vettel/Webber/Kubica (in that order).

No way do I want FA replaced. I am enjoying his stuggles way too much and Germany was icing. He needs radio calls now to make passes. Leave him at Ferrari. Supposedly after wearing red he leaves. He provides way too much Diva entertainment to let him go!! :)

I suggest you look at the performance of the cars first before saying who is special or not.

Kubica is IMO one of the elite, just never had a good enough car yet. I rate him higher than Alonso, Rosberg etc...On par with Hamilton and Vettel.

Hamilton without question, followed by Vettel and Kubica in that order.

I've been saying for a couple of years now, if I could build the team, I'd have Kubica and Vettel in the red cars. In my opinion, they are the best, complete drivers on the grid.

    WTF!
Are you kidding right? If not, you need to see further than USA Ferrari fans perspective.

As someone said, maybe Sutil will be a nice alternative, however I´d prefer that Kimi takes the place of Massa ;)

Not sure Alonso would like that all that much :D. Toys out of the pram within 3 races lol.

Sutil is interesting as #2 driver I think. Occasional he does brilliant, for the rest he's 'just there'. But he can't drive like Kovalainen did...

I agree, although with 2 very fast drivers you need to watch out that you don't create a Mclaren 2007 situation.

That won't work for me Steve. :D

Personally, I'd like to see Ross Brawn back together with Schumacher, but the chances of that happening are VERY small. Second driver Massa.

Otherwise, Kubica numero uno with Massa second. I honestly believe that Massa is one of the best second drivers around. His problem is that his car HAS to be perfectly setup or else he just isn't there as much some other drivers can be.

If the only way is forward, why is Schumacher running back on that billboard? :D

Thing is Bas, Ham or MS will never happen.

There again nothing surprises me in F1, I suppose thats a good reason to like it.

I can see Vettel or Kubica at Ferrari, and would do very well, but if we are talking about the best driver to get the job done right now, taking personal likes or dislikes out of the equation Ham IMO would be the best...:)

I would probably dislike him then for selling out . :D

LOL well yes, he is as i've said a lot of times this and last season, at the very top (hamilton), but I have no doubt in my mind that if you put Vettel or Schumacher in equal cars that they'd all hang together and just trade wins around all season long. Who would win? If all cars are exactly how each drivers likes it, no reliability issues/crashes et all, I'd put my money on Schumacher.

But a perfect car doesn't exist.

    Only MS has done it.

The only person on the Grid that *could* do it is Lewis Hamilton,

what about Webber? If it was on will power alone he would do it.

Forget the drivers; Adrian Newey. Any two test drivers would suffice after that....
If not, then Hamilton. Bar none; fastest driver in the field (most marketable as well)
