All are equal in the eyes of law. Right, Tim & Tiong? If you break the rule u pay for it, whether it's a mini or CCXR. I have a friend who enjoys to drive his phantom LWB here & I asked him how about parking? He candidly replied it's a bit expensive, $70 each time if he's unlucky!
I guess I am old fashion...but looking forward to this movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6RU5y2fU6s Also still admire Schumi. Regardless if he ever wins or not, just for being brave enough to come out of retirement amidst all the heat he is receiving to do what he loves doing...Jia You!
Oh yes, that reminds me. Phil did have a model shop before he went into bearings! Guilty as charged, I've been shopping online as well. When I was in Milan, there was this little shop that sells all those motoring stuff in the centuries old mall. I had to visit it 3 times to buy things cos they have odd hours. Otherwise, the little shops in London are bloody fun as well. Maybe not in Sg, our shopping climate is quite different. Hahaha, that's cos Mrs K's watching your back right, honey? Tell me, is Blahnik cheaper than her fav brand? Should be fine but those decals could be tricky. I have a problem with some of my models. Our humidity has started to cause tiny bubbling (rust) on my 1/12th F40 & others How do u guys keep them dry & clean? Turn on the lights? I used to use a small brush to dust them off & a moist cloth which often bends the wipers LOL!
Dude, which other car are you restoring now? Now, power coating is a brilliant idea! Is there a proper workshop in Sg that does this? My mechanic didn't want to tell me where he got that wrinkled? or whatever they call it, red paint work on the cam covers. The problem is labour & electronics. We need a workshop with patient & careful hands on the cabin stuff or in fact, every part which is tough in Sg. The F1 system is notorious & clutch play is electronically adjusted via a laptop! If I have a relatively new Ferrari, I'll most likely buy the insurance program but like what Tim says, read the fine lines....
This is the actual cargo ship that is bringing my car in... tracking it every hour Hopefully it doesn't get hijacked by Somali pirates HANJIN LYON Position Recorded on: 7/28/2010 5:48:40 PM (UTC) Lon/Lat: 10.50607 / 41.939468 Speed/Course: 21.3 kn / 315° Image Unavailable, Please Login
1:18 not bad... i bought 1:18 usually when the cars are less seen on the road like 599XX and Reventon Roadster
Dun worry, pirates cant drive ur new ride off the boat....errr.....it cant float, rite?! >< If aeroplane, errr, maybe they will fly it away lar.....
her words were actually "OMG I love that dress .. aaahhh they're the latest Louboutin's I tried them on today!" Her favourite brands are actually Choo's and Zanotti's .. and doesn't own any Blahnik's apparently becoz they're "not high enough" need not worry and everyone knows, Somalia is a LHD country and they wouldn't want to break the law
Brilliant! Now we have our very own Abramovich! Btw, I didn't know Somali is LHD. Doesn't matter does it
Trying out my new 50mm 1.2. Do you guys think I should keep the black? Am thinking of a coat of fresh paint. Am thinking classic red but a bit "look @ me!" in KL, maybe the LeMans blue or like the one on that 599 I posted? Friend said black is nice & subtle. Will like to switch out the shields to enamelled. Problem is the people over here loves to knock on your doors when they park Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah man, grew up watching these fellas, gonna be nice!! With MP on the open waters and now that he knows the EXACT coordinates, Somali pirates should be the least of your worries!! Anyway, rather noob question, but if a car does get hijacked on the way(touchwood, hope it never happens), does insurance cover the whole value?
I use this for my vinyl models... this sucker picks up dust like a hoover! Just a light brush once in awhile and all your models will look nice and new. http://www.kao.com/sg/magiclean/mcl_wiper_handy_00.html
Still working on the 355 bit by bit when I have the time. Just got hold of my Hill Engg A/C overlay. Powder coated the metal triangle pieces where the wing mirrors sit. Next piece to come off will be the steering housing which is sticky (what else is new). The last to be worked on will be the A/C vents which means the dash will have to come off. Major job and that one no hurry. Wrinkle paint can be bought through Superformance.co.uk but must be shipped as air carriage is not allowed on passenger planes. If not, I can bring back for you. Local auto shops should have, let me ask the guy doing my interior bits when I get back next week.
