I think the car looks just fine in black. Red doesn't suit the 456, looks better on the smaller V8s. The deep shades of blue also look good, that's what I want my future BB to be in . Was toying with the idea of doing the 355 in that blue but there is something magical about a red horse!

Jon - are your shields stick on plastics or metal? I think the Yoshi shields are very well made for that price as compared to factory shields which is a rip off.
I'm guessing either Maroon or Ruby red to suit the lines of the car. 456 looks subtle on the exterior, thats why those "LOOK AT ME" colors don't really match!

Red's a little too loud for the 456. Nuovo Blu Pozzi on that Novitec 599 is not bad but I would prefer one shade lighter which is the Blu Tour de France or Blu Mirabeau. The paintwork on Kyosho models have an infamous tendency to bubble after some time. I keep my models in a glass cabinet with silica gel on alternate levels to keep out the humidity. I change the gel every 3 months and occasionally wipe off some dust with a micro-fibre cloth. I have a in-built light in the cabinet but i don't turn it on as the heat from the light will cause bubbles to appear even faster.
You guys should do one of those factory collection thingys and drive it all the way back to the UK to be loaded onto the ship. One of those "must do" things in life.

I wanted the black Diablo but had to settle for the sliver as none were for sale on local eBay. The one I am most keen on is the Mucie roadster done in gold. Beautiful car and at least I don't have to spend a million plus put up with that impossible roof . What cars are you getting rid of? I am looking for a 308GT4 Dino (yes, that unloved one) and a 348 spider in 1/43.
My 1/12 is from autoart and tamiya, so currently no problems with bubbles. All my models have display case hence it minimise dust. I have spot lights to make all my model looks cool and they are being pampered in an air conditional room like my chinchilla
Haha I'm looking for the orange Diablo as well. I think the gold Murcie roadster looks good, especially with the Hercules rims, not like the older rims on the coupe. The only reason why I didn't get the roadster was I didn't like the old Murcie's tailights. I don't collect 1/43s haha. I'm trying to sell off my 1/18 M6, GTR, R8, 997 Turbo and Viper.
