Not exactly a car, but very nice on tracks. 28.5 CV 2 stroke engine for app. 170 kg total weight, this is rather good .. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great thread, I don't have a track car, but I kind of want one, probably a Caterham. I guess the Forza and GT5 cars will be my track cars
Brian, of all your beautiful cars, which one is the most 'thrilling', the one that sends goosebumps and fear through your veins when you get on the accelerator???
Probably the cobra....low weight, too much power. Guys that raced these all out were very brave. The 50hp+ home-made alumimum kart is also a little scary Brian Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Yep, the car had almost 500k miles on it when we bought it for $350 with the engine on the ground. So far it's survived 4 LeMons races, finishing 6th in the last one. Next race is in September and we were working on it today, can't wait!
I would like a new track car. This is the last one, I sold it a couple of years ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
When I race SCCA STO the GT1 cars are in our group. They sneak up so fast you check your mirrors and see no one in the distance. Then all of a sudden a GT1 car is on your tail. The Vette is a miata to a GT1 car.
Group C2. It raced LeMans twice in the late 80's with a Cosworth, which was replaced with a 700 hp Chevy race engine and a much beefier Hewland gearbox. It developed lots of downforce too. Here's one of the tunnels; that's a rear tire on the right side of the photo. Image Unavailable, Please Login
