If an F-90 were to become available, how many people would be interested and how much would it sell for?

Interesting first post, lol. I'll play.

Technically there would have to be a F60, F70, and F80 before you could have a F90.

Actually there is an F90 built by Pininfarina on a Testarossa chassis for the Sultan of Brunei.

This should be moved to the Boxer/Testarossa/M section. If this is one of the operating f90s, it could sell for a large premium over a "standard" TR. However it would still not be worth more than the "FX" or Mythos. Are you offering an F90, if so which chassis number is it?

    Ditto.

    Google Ferrari F 90.

Another issue is that many of these cars have been sitting for a long time and might need a LOT of refurbishment.

I'd also wonder how functional they were as many of his cars never got fully sorted.

No need for F60, 70 or 80 as F.90 refers to " a Ferrari of the '90s ". The only way to estimate it's value is what someone is willing to pay for one. Enrico's design style did make it onto the roads in a p/f Alfa..

The rear of the car is so bizarre compared to any other f-car prototype. So the Sultan has all six of these in his possession. Here's a interesting note:

Interestingly, the only the wheels and mirrors were left from the Testarossa body. Enrico Fumia described the roof: "The most complicated 'detail' is the roof, still unique. It's a sort of a sliding 'Targa'-roof which overlaps the rear windshield.. He goes on to say "No doubt that F90 was the most complicated and sophisticated prototype ever built by Pininfarina: a difficult technical exercise mixed with a dramatic style."

my thoughts exactly. That quote was from Richard Owen, but i couldn't find when the article was from.

The front is very modern and sleek for being built from a '88 Testarossa, just can't get over what happened to the rear of the car. Everything rear of the front fenders is just not Ferrari-like at all IMO.

This is a true staement. The Sultan has like 1500+ cars. Many of them are one off's from Ferrari. I can't imagine them being driven all too often....
I think the F90, of the sultan, is a unique design but i would prefer his FX over it any day of the week.... I think one of his FX's sold to a collector in California? A blue version. But he still has the red...
I think he has a couple F90's, if i'm not mistaken.....

The sultan supposedly has six f90s and six FXs. It such a shame that these cars may never see the public eyes. We can just hope that general maintenance is being done and that they're not just deteriorating out there in the desert of Brunei.

i personally want the 456 Venice Estate for the ole lady.

It's a shame, but I'd guess this is exactly what is happening.

Quotes are from Fumia, the SCN article was indeed by Owen.

Thankfully this can never happen :)

Do you know when the article was written? I did get it from SCN.

I agree that the moisture won't deteriorate anything in the desert but other things will like leather, rubber belts/tires, dashboards, ect.

Why can't he just hire someone like myself to make sure that every car gets driven 10km a year? i'll give up my day job and won't even care if i'm paid :)

"Tdeteriorating out there in the desert of Brunei"

Do you know where is Brunei? we are not speaking of GCC, but Borneo island, hot, humid, tropical! certainly not the best area to park some cars, but certainly not a desert at all!
