    Hey Guys,

Been a while since I posted, but constanly reading your posts.

Recently had the 30k service done with alternator rebuild. (25880 miles)

Took the car out twice and found the following, any help-advice is appreciated. (I have already asked the dealer to pick it up, just want to know what's going on with.

    1. On the first drive, I had trouble shifting the car to fifth, it felt like it was being down shifted. It did this maybe two or three twice. The shifting to 5th sometimes almost sticks, (meaning it does not allow me to do it)

    2. On the second drive, it did the same thing above a two more times. During this drive, I also noticed a ticking noise from the engine, followed by check engine light 1/4, and felt a loss of power. Basically drove the car home.

The car has only been driven around 150 miles since it's service done last month. After spending 8k on the service, I am pissed, as the intention was to get the service done, and sell the car.

    Thanks

    Vishal

Shift to 5th probably about linkage adjustment. No idea about ticking without hearing it.

I had a ticking sound on my 355. Turned out that the exhaust manifolds needed to be replaced. If that is the problem, I would highly recommend the Tubis rather than going OEM if you want to keep the car for another 10 years.
