    Repo man? Looks like license plate recognition of some kind...and its not a municipal plate. But thats just a guess.

    Some MO cities are getting license plate recognition software, but they are installed on top of the lightbars on marked cars.

    I've seen one of these on 294 near the Hinsdale oasis, it was heading south.

    This was eastbound on I80 near 57 but I have seen them in varous places in the area.

    My guess too. Looks like a G car with slick plates though.

    I dont think its google street view. The google cars have their stuff on the roof.

    Agreed. I think maybe the plate recognition repo man is a good bet.
