WANTED: xbox 360 wifi adapter

Anyone have a wifi adapter that they'll sell cheap? To clarify, one that is working.

My son needs one so he can play from his room. I'm not too thrilled about the price at the local Gamestop and am hoping to pick one up cheap from someone that might have upgraded to the Slim.

Any tips on possible vendors or who to stay away from?

Bought mine off of Amazon, can't remember who the seller was but paid almost full price for it. One thing to look out for, before I was able to use it on my xbox (the light kept blinking showing it was "searching" for a network) I had to actually go online plugged in.

Not sure if it's certain models/build years or what but after much searching and frustration I bought a 50ft cable for $6 (off Amazon again) and plugged it into the modem. It auto-downloaded some drivers so that I could use the wireless adapter.

 

Thanks for the tips. Used are still $69 at the local Gamestop; seems high for something that is ~ $90 new.

 

I bet if you sold them one they would offer you $20 max

 

Bought from Gamestop; made a deal with my son where we each paid half. He also had a card that got us 10% off. It was worth it to get him out of the office.
