In EU the current mark-up on new GTOs appears to be around EUR 70k…
Couple of cars for immediate delivery appear to be available at Auto Salon Singen for around EUR 420k. (list price was 320k plus options). Actually, I am wondering where are they getting their cars from. Anyone dealt with them before?
Maybe it is a bit of stretch, but I was wondering maybe they are so big that Ferrari is parking their own unsold GTOs in their inventory which they later sell at a premium?

That is probably a bit of a conspiracy theory......more likely they have a pre-arrangement with a main dealer or a customer of a main dealer. Ferrari are probably not happy about the situation but in reality there is not too much they can/will do about it. In a perverse way the premiums actually help the Ferrari brand and image in the bigger scheme of things. A'int capitalism great!

I don't see any premium for the GTO in Europe:

Without VAT, the price for this one is 344k Euro, just 27K over list (not counting options).

Are you sure? In the Uk, the difference between GTO and Italia is almost 140k pounds and your numbers suggest that in Continental Europe this difference is only 85k Euro.

I have no idea if there is a premium or not but a local collector has offered me a perfect 800 mile Enzo at a very attractive price provided that my GTO is part of the deal...! Either this guy is too generous or the premium is at least 50k...

I am amazed there is a premium for the car, given how many cars were unsold last April. Still it is an incredible Ferrari and many people will prefer driving the GTO to the Enzo. I don't -the Enzo is very special for me- but I can easily see the appeal

    Great success for Ferrari

The local word in US is +$100k. Deliveries start in earnest in late Oct--this will likely shake out the true premium market for the car.

My guess is premium holds until new Enzo model hits...then slides back towards par. But who knows? And more importantly, except for your banker, who really cares?

I'm not interested in moving mine :)

Don’t you think it was more a case that in certain countries there were unsold cars from their allocation.
Clearly based on what has been said there was excess demand for this car in UK, Singapore, HK etc
I would imagine that individual country importers would be reluctant to give away their allocation even if unsold and that’s how cars are now coming to the market
