Vibration rattle... 430 diffuser

Detected a rattle on cold start up with Tubi fitted and found the cause.
I was missing 2 bolts with large washers from the underside of the diffuser on the RHS which had completely fallen out.

This led to a very distinctive vibration rattle and I believe that this part has to come off when the car was in for service recently and may not have been tightened up well enough.

It could have also been due to the resonance of the sports Tubi so I'd advise owners with aftermarket exhausts to check this area.

A new set of bolts with spring washers hopefully will not allow it to happen again.

shops often do not put back all the screws after a service. i had about 1/3 of my bolts missing after dealer worked on mine.

 

I've just found another one missing dead centre in the diffuser...that makes 3 all up out of 5.
I'm not sure if I have just missed that one too or it has also fallen out since last week?
Either way it's a bit p poor in any case for this to happen.
