I am far more 'mature' these days! NOT! I just heard that the car got loaded up, and should be here by Tues/Wed!
Stradale is here! It just came off the truck this morning and went for a full clear bra treatment. It feels so right being back in a Stradale again. There is this feeling of content that is hard to describe. I want thank Roy "NERD" for selling me a great car and being the most professional and courteous seller I've ever done business with--literally. I also want to thank Andrew "stockpro" for all of his help in letting me run an "Andrew-fax" before pulling the trigger. There was no way I was going to buy another Stradale before running it by him and he was patient enough to listen. I don't think everyone appreciates how much of his personal time he dedicates to buyers and sellers of these cars--very generous and a true enthusiast. Pictures to follow soon!
Andrew is truly da man. He was there when I took delivery of my Scuderia not too long ago and even went as far as lending a hand in pushing my car out when it wouldn't start due to a dead battery. The whole delivery experience is like no other! I'll never forget the moment I first saw one. Although she's not a CS, I feel every bit as privileged to call Andrew a friend and to hear of him helping others get their dream CS truly warms the heart. I can't wait to see pictures of course! Love them!!!! Congrats man!!!
Here are a couple of crappy cell phone pics before I ask TexasMike to take some better ones Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I also want to thank SW from Elite Motorsports for handling the business end of this transaction. I will not buy a car without him involved--he is one of the most meticulous car guys you'll ever meet! I'm looking forward to some spirited driving at Crescent Classic this year! Hi.I'm a new member.I've owned a 355 for 2 years and am researching the cs. Stokpro really seems to have his finger on the cs pulse. I lost the thread on the yellow cs the Sports Car Co had listed. Does anyone know where that car went? I believe Stokpro said it had some major stories. Thanks for the great forum.
Gone. The Yellow/Red CS went to the Denver Ferrari dealer. There is definitely a 'pecking order' to the Stradales for sale. Beyond the mere condition mileage and service record is color combinations and options. Rosso Corsa and Rosso Scuderia command a premium as does a factory stripe. Black is popular but not common and also commands a premium perhaps greater than the reds. Tour de France Blue, Yellow, Silver and gray colors are farther down the price list. The alcantara material interior is more common than the leather. Finding a 'good' Stradale that has been well looked after is becoming more difficult. It is creating a bigger price spread where the poor quality cars are at one end and the choice low mileage collector cars are at the other extreme. There is a lot less in the middle to choose from any more. For some buyers the more plentiful 430 has become an easier purchase solution. Especially the early 430's (05-07) that can be found without the expensive carbon brakes. CH
