    Hey Everyone,

    Most of you know about the supercar cruise and group photoshoot I've been working on which will take place after Cars & Coffee at Ferrari-Maserati of Fort Lauderdale on Saturday August 14th, 2010. The other thread was getting a little unorganized so this is the official thread.

    Here's the game plan:

    -10am-12pm Cars & Coffee hosted by FMFL. We're asking everyone to bring at least ONE canned or dry food item which will all be donated to the local Broward Meals on Wheels Organization (http://www.bmow.org/). They serve over 10,000 residents in Broward County. This is a great way to come together as a group with common interests and give back to the less fortunate. Please be generous to those in need :)

    -After we all enjoy some FMFL hospitality we will be driving together as a group to Markham Park right at the I75-I595 exchange. It's a nice 24 mile (~30 minutes) highway drive. We'll all meet at the park where there are very nice, quiet roads with some great lakes and scenery. Click here for the drive route and location of the park: http://tinyurl.com/26qxjj2


    -At the park we will organize all the cars in the best fashion for a giant group photoshoot. This is where our 6 or more young, talented photographers will show their skills. There will be no shortage of fantastic photos throughout the day.


    After everyone hangs out for a bit and the photographers do there thing we'll call it a day. This should make for one UNFORGETTABLE day and you DO NOT want to miss it!!

    Let's start to get a head count so we know about how many we have joining in on the fun. If you're interested in coming let us know what you'll be driving and if you have an empty seat that you'd be kind enough to let one of the photographers sit in along the drive to get some rolling action shots of all the exotics and sports cars.

    And please don't forget about our donations to the Broward Meals on Wheels Organization. It always feel great to help out those who really need it.

    I'm in. I can give a Palm Beach county photographer type a ride if needed. Passengers need weather protection for their gear, and the ability to wipe the windshield down from the inside in case of rain.

    This opportunity would sound more appealing if the photog's were going to be hosting an "open bar" for the duration of the afternoon :D :D :D

    I have a ride there. But, when we leave FMFL, I will need to go along with someone. Both my parents are going and it's kinda hard to get pictures from the backseat of a Porsche :eek:

    This is a good idea, but if we hosted an open bar I'm not sure if I would be taking any photos :D

    I will try to make the 10am-12pm Cars & Coffee, if I can’t I will be waiting at Mark Ham park. You might want to let everyone know that as you drive in to stay to the right and head by the R/C airport. The road in that area has the less traffic. thanks for your help.

    I just got done with a photoshoot in Naples. On Saturday the 14th I'll be meeting with the guys I just did the shoot with and we'll be heading to C&C in the morning with around 12 or so cars and they'll be coming on the cruise with everyone.

    Also, we're putting in the word to a friend who's a Broward County police officer to have a little traffic control for a few minutes to help get the cars out onto the street. Getting close to 50 cars out of the parking lot at noon on a Saturday might be a little difficult. So hopefully we'll get a uniformed officer to give us a hand.

    We're looking good so far guys. See everyone in a week :)

    Sorry, no extra seat....bringing someone (female :)) with me.

    Anyone interested do some REAL shooting after the photo shoot........I haven't been to their outdoor gun range in quite a while....we were thinking about bringing the shotgun and shooting some clay pigeons, then perhaps doing the hand gun range!.... Fred, anyone else ????

    Btw, I'm installing a gun rack on the back window of the Dino as we talk!!! lol

    Well. I just got home from running some errands and it's raining and I'm wearing flip flops. So, I open my garage door, step in, and not even a second after I step in, I slipped. Went flying back, and hit my head on some rather hard boxes. Feel a bit dizzy and my trigger finger is surely broken.

    I'll still be there! Can't miss this!!

    Guess I'll have to shoot with a different finger :eek:

    Just got it checked out. Trigger finger is super jammed. Should be good by next weekend!!!!
    However, my ring finger on my left hand wasn't so lucky. It'll be splinted and wrapped up for a while.

    Trigger finger is good!!! :D

    I'm not riding in anything exotic these days, but I'd love to come out and offer a ride to anyone coming/going from the Weston area (which is right near the park you are headed to).

    I plan to bring my detail vehicle if anyone needs a quick touch-up prior to pictures. I have purifed water if you want a spotless rinse or you can use a micro-fiber towel and some product to get off any road debris. Gratis

    Peter, if you can let see if we can get a list of the cars that will be showing up. I want to bring my tri-pod to shoot some cars and make a transparent hood in Photoshop, I have a viper that I shot and it looked great. I just can’t seem to post the photo. should be allot of fun.

    That's a good idea. This way we'll have a better idea of how many we have coming.

    Here's a list of the 100% people I know that are coming:

    2x ZO6
    Cobra
    996 Carrera
    996 Turbo (Jay and his parents)
    Dino (John V)
    NSX x2
    F430 (Blake and his dad)
    F430 Spider
    Ginetta (BT)
    Porsche 951 S (Scott)

    Of course anything can change last minute so we won't know until Saturday. The guys from Naples I'm cruising to FMFL with say they can bring 12 cars or so (mostly ZO6s, Cobras, and a few others), and some Boca guys may be coming with a CTS-V, Gallardo, 996 Turbo, IS-F, and E55 AMG all with mods. So that makes 12 positives plus a possible 18 more, the guys I forgot, and whoever hasn't spoken up yet.

    How about Bill B, Robert M, Freddy B, Scottie. Where you guys at!?

    For the ones who may not know.....Markham Park (where the cars will be photographed after Cars & Coffee) has an outdoor shooting range for hand guns, shot guns, and I think riffles!
    I'm not positive, but I think you can rent a gun at the range if you don't have/bring one!

    Just heard back from a friend of ours. He may be going with his DB9 Volante.

    also, may be an R8 in the mix. Met the owner for the first time and told him about the whole thing. He said he'll give me a call some time during the week whether or not he can make it.

    Nice!! I think I'll hang around and do some bang-bangin' with you guys. Though I may need a ride back to FMFL to get my car b/c I'll be riding with someone on the cruise.

    We might bring the rs but for sure we are bringing the m5, but I would love to ride shotgun in the nsx.
