I'll be there with the MG Sebring car...it just got its new works-type exhaust and it may drown out the cobras.
Do you even have to ask? Of course my Son and I will be there! He already asked me this morning "Dad is the car show still on tomorrow?" When I said YES, he sad "Don't forget, I'm going too!" Bill P.
I'm in. Can't wait to hear the ruckus the MG is going to rile up Philip! Lookin forward to shaking hands Bill. I saw the 458 sitting outside the dealership a couple weeks ago...seeeexy car in person.
Here are a few side-by-side photos from this morning. It was good to see everyone again. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A great turn out again, lots of terrific cars the star of the day was a fabulous MG TC in black - simply magnificent and with a bell to warn traffic!. And did anyone hear that burgundy Bugeyed Sprite come in with the SUPERCHARGER hung on it? A point of order however, there was one of those electric things there - next will come the golf carts? A proper car should run on only dead dinosaurs.
Just happen to have a pic of the beautiful MG TC. And a pic of the "volts-wagen". Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I heard that by 7:05 people were already parking in the "back" lot!!! I was joking with the Smith's that pretty soon we're going to have to start camping out like all those people who camp out the Apple store just to be the first to get a new gadget! It was GREAT seeing so many friends again! I'll have to agree with Michael that (for me) the show favorite was the 1947 MG TC "Police Car". Did anyone see the photo (laying on the driver's seat) of this car with a snow blower attached to it? That was classic! I also enjoyed seeing the 1939 Chevy Bus that was in the movie "Hoosiers". What a beauty! The driver's seat was near the center instead of to the left. The front windshield swung out (to let more air in)? Ferraritime, we love you, man! As always, it was great to see everyone there. This GTG is a the best way to start a Saturday! p.s. This was only a photo op. Car did not occupy the 'capped space. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It was great seeing everyone and their cars today! Thanks to my bro -- Scuderia NOva --- for taking this pic of Blu-To as my son and I pulled into C&C. Bill: Thanks for posting the pics. Do you have some of our kids in the Hoosier bus? Until next week... RP PS: In Fairfax VA on Sun AMs some Porsche and Car guys also get together at the Starbucks in Fair Lakes. Approx 830am. PPS: That Ferrari in the handicap spot gives us Fcar owners a bad name.. HAHAHHA -- Just kidding Ferraritime. Always great playing wingman with ya! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did anyone catch the picture the owner had of his TC pushing a snowblower during the snowstorm this winter? The 'blown' Bugeye made quite a noise. I asked the owner about it and received this wisdom: "It makes some funny sounds, but it works and nothing's broken yet"
SCUD-NOVA, hey thanks for besmirching my good name! LOL! Always fun blasting south-north/north-south with the King of Cars, the youngster King of Cars, and a few of his Buds! Great drive today, loved the Blue Bomber. . .but hey, try to have a little variety in your life, I think it's time for a new ride Hope to see you/everyone/anyone else Sunday a.m. Fair Lakes by Kohls/Starbucks.
OK guys, keep your fngers crossed for good weather next week! My wife and I just arrived last night from Tennessee, and so will be there next week. Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing the great cars! Shiny Side Up! Bill
Thanks Ferraritime. Great seeing you this AM too... FOR the record -- There's Scuderia VA and there's Scuderia NoVA. In addition to being related (brothers) we have a similar call sign on Fchat. RP
I've gone twice in the hopes of seeing that F40 and both times the car wasn't there! I tried going yesterday but my cf hood decided to pop up and smash my windshield on the way, doh! Maybe next week. That blue 993 looks amazing!
Ahmad, Allie has brought his F40 the past 2-3 weeks. You should definitely make it out next week!! But don't hold me responsible if he doesn't bring it next week! I'm just saying if you don't come next week, you might be pushing your luck! Bill P.
My pics aren't as good as Bill's, but here are a few I took of the Morgan Aero. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Location is in the Village of Great Falls. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&q=old+irish+pub+great+falls+va&fb=1&gl=us&hq=old+irish+pub&hnear=Great+Falls,+VA&view=map&cid=9282597034815595641&iwloc=A&ved=0CIgBEKUG&sa=X&ei=Nm1hTMWDOJSszATJybGDBA There is a coffee shop called Katie's which is attached to the Old Brogue Irish Pub. The cars fill up that entire parking lot in front of Katie's. Time is 6:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. on Saturday mornings. The other stores in that shopping area open up around 9 a.m. on Saturdays and they do not like a zillion cars blocking the parking lot for their customers, so the unwritten rule there is the car show cars need to start leaving at 9 a.m. Most are gone by 9:15 or so. Be careful coming and going. It is a 25 mph zone and the Fairfax County Police typically sit on the edge of the road in the Village and are happy to give tickets.
