I was looking at a 94 Diablo SE30 on Ebay.

So other than the low production number, I'm wondering what is different about an SE30 versus a standard 94 Diablo? More power? 2wd?

There are more differences than you might expect, quiet a lot of parts were different from the standard Diablo. Have a look at lambocars to begin with:

    Dear Lamborghinisti,

...not exactly the reaction I would expect to a SE 30.

What makes you come to that conclusion?

The SE30 is the best in term of value and look as well as great performance of all Diablo series...

Well, I'm looking for more of a driver, and windows and A/C are somewhat important. The lighter more powerful engine is definitely a plus, but if your in it for speed then I might as well buy a Z-06. I don't really want to shell out collector money on a car that I want to drive with out sweating the mileage / depreciation aspect.

I would much rather have your VT Roadster, except you've got the color all wrong. It's suppose to be red. ;)

both nice cars, even if different and for different purpose (a "cafe racer" exotic Vs a hi speed cruiser exotic)

the SE30 i think is slightly more collectable since it is more scarce and was built to race diablo in GT championship
(this said, i am pretty sure in the long time the open top version of the diablo will be sought after...as all open top version of the best sport cars...ghibli, daytona, etc...)

The US versions of the SE30 do have air conditioning, power steering and sound system but I would hardly call these cars daily drivers. There are small functional hand crank windows, no front end lift system and the brakes are horrible. I have to be in the right mind set to drive this car but the street presence and the raw aggressive nature of the car make it all worthwhile for me.

If you used the right brake pads, you would notice an MAJOR difference....no front end lift system needed if operated properly...at least in experiance with mine. It is a RAW ands HECK of a lot of fun car to operate...love my SE30 as well..

I am using brake pads as recommended by the factory. The brakes on the SE30 are less than desirable as compared to the 6.0.

Chris the front shot of your car is really stunning. The best angle for a Diablo.

I would have to say that I prefer the look of the closed headlights on the early Diablo's vs the 6.0 cars. I guess I'm just different.

    Dear Lamborghinisti,

It's a VT Roadster....it's supposed to be monterrey blue on snowcorn... :)

...you mean just like a Ferrari??

....yeah, a VT Roadster baby !! ....bling bling all the way!! :D

I drive my Diablo everyday...it's just fine. I hate that damn lift system. Don't even look at the button or it will start leaking. I've already replaced the front shocks at $1800 ea.

BUT, most importantly.....it's great for chicks !

Oh, 92677, great, great photos! I just love that metallic purple.
