Thanks. Are there any high cost repairs that seem to be unique to the cs? I've heard that the f1 trans hates reverse and wears the clutch very quickly.
To my knowledge, there are no repair or wear-out issues unique to the CS. There ARE many bits and pieces (body trim, windshield, Lexan rear window, suspension components, interior CF, etc.) which are unique to the CS that no doubt would be uniquely expensive if requiring replacement!
Congrats V. Will be good to see you at Crescent this year. Has been too long. Now you just need a wing!!!!
As I understand it, using reverse on flat areas, like backing into a garage, is not an issue. It is as you say, backing up inclines that wears the clutch since it is not fully engaged in reverse.
Thanks for the info.I can imagine replacing a lexan rear window or a titanium spring could put a little dent in the pocket book.
The thinner (albiet DOT legal) CS windshield is shared with the Scuderia, but anyone getting a replacement should not settle for 360 glass.....
Vivek, congrats man!!! Glad I could help. At one point I was 2nd in line to buy that CS from nerd, so you know it's got my stamp of approval. Post more pics when you get a chance.
hey stockpro ..... just curious about the two nero cars sans strip and who bought them: the one in colorado for sale that was on ebay and jeffery's car? any ideas
Jeffrey's car was bought by a guy in my area. I met him this past weekend. Nice guy and a new enthusiast.
Thanks for the link. Always a great pleasure to see what Todd can do when his talent meets up with yet another Ferrari! You guys are spoiled by the quality of his work down there... CH
