I'm driving up to Pebble at the end of the week, since I'm not participating in any of the events, does it matter which car I drive? as in...is there any reason to take the 430?

No, it doesn't really matter, but I think it would add to the fun and excitement of the trip if you did bring the 430. :)

I would drive something compact/easy to park that you don't have to worry about. Both times I have gone there are several venues where you can end up parking in a field. I'm not sure where Concourso Italiano is nowadays but it was a bumpy grass field for most of the parking, same thing with Laguna Seca. The parking for Pebble was just hard to find and involved some very tight parallel parking. You can probably pay more for better parking and/or valet but I haven't ever gone that route.

I've driven the 430 around california a lot already so I don't feel the "need" to drive it...so what you guys are saying is what I was thinking...just drive a regular car.

Once you are there you will wish you had your 430.

You'll probably miss it but won't miss the hassle of having it :)
