I took my 348 for a drive today. And I brought a mate along for the ride too. Svet is his name, mates for a long time now. Went to school together. Went for a drive with Svet and let him have a drive for 20 mins or so. He had a bit of trouble behind the wheel. Struggled with the gear changes mainly. He complained the pedals are too close together, seat wont recline back far enough, steering is too heavy, clutch pedal too heavy. Etc..etc. But thats what I LOVE about it. Which is why I bought the car in the first place. He had some good wheel time and he enjoyed it....................but he didnt, he said. This man has owned some very fast turbo cars in the past and currently owns a 2002 Nissan Silvia. Another satisfied customer. Hey PAP's...I loved your 348! How many years have you had her? I'm envious. At least you are driving a Ferrari. I wanna own one someday before I retire. I'm looking one up right now on Hawaii's Craigslist. A silver F355 Berlinetta. Manual! Just the way I like it. I think they are selling it for $55,000! I don't know if it's a good buy. But anyway, nice car!
G'day mate. Thanks for your kind words. I have owned her for over 5 yrs now. AWESOME car and I dont think I will ever sell her. Its true love. A silver 355 is the way to go!! Gorgeous cars and for US $55K, you're on a winner. We pay US $120K+ for 355's here in Australia. I want to own 3 Ferraris one day. If I lived in the US, I would already have those 3 Ferraris and I would have set my goal of 6 Ferraris. You only live my friend, so the sooner the better I reckon.
Lol, nah man. He took those off. Would LOVE a red/tan 308 GTB and something newer like a 360, 430 or 599. In a 6 speed of course, red/tan too. If I lived in the US, id have them all by now and would be adding a 550, Testarossa and 458 in the near future.
The most beautiful 348 Spider I have ever seen Blu Pozzi or TDF? I'm going with Pozzi I've made up my mind color wise for the first 'rari. Blue & Cuoio FTW. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Another day another Ferrari drive. Took workmate Tony for a drive today. Took his boy Liam for a short little drive too. He loved it. I was taking 5 yr old Chelsea also..........but she decided she wanted Mummy to paint her nails. Liam is 7 yrs old, a nice young chap that races Ferraris on his Xbox game he told me. I gave Liam and his sister a Ferrari hat each. Cute kids, real cute. Tony and I went for a spirited drive. I gave him some wheel time also. He really appreciated it and enjoyed the drive. He took it up to 140 km/h with my permission. I told him he drives at his own risk, I aint responsible if he loses his licence. Another happy customer that told me he will NEVER forget the Ferrari drive. He couldnt stop thanking me for letting him have the opportunity for a drive and for taking he and his son for a drive. Some people are lucky to see a Ferrari once in their lifetime, some people are lucky to go for a drive as a passenger in one or actually have a drive of one................. but owning one is something else and I everytime I take my car out I feel extrememly blessed that I actually own a Ferrari! You're such a cool guy, Pap. By the way, a few more pictures of you (fully clothed) in the driver's seat wouldn't go amiss... anything to get that image of those shorts (or lack thereof) out of my mind. All the best, Andrew.
Hey my man I never noticed the Euro marker side lights under your scuderia badge, cool, do you have pics with the lights on?
Cheers man, I dont know. I dont think I have a pic, but I will look. If not, if I take it out next time when its dark/night time (rare) I will snap a pic for you brother.
