It seems Ferrari put the Scuderia on a diet. The front windshield is lighter than on a normal 430. Also this comment> Ferrari uses a different paint for the Scuderia. It's 30% lighter than regular paint, saving an average of 5lbs per car depending on color. But it just doesn't quite have the depth and finish of the regular paint, and only looks well, 70% as deep. It's hard to tell unless the same color cars are side by side, and it's much more noticeable on black and dark metallics than it is on white. CH
I guess the same would be true for challenge cars - actually makes sense but I would rather lose 5 lb.s myself and have proper paint.
