So i bought a euro Dino 208 . Cars front bumper looks pushed in a bit in the pics.
Super performance in the UK has the front fiberglass filler panel listed as 30804030 for $135.60 Pounds / Sterling.

From the pics there is also a chrome trim piece that goes behind the bumper. pn 40313603 in the parts manual?

i cant seem to locate one of these chrome pieces anywhere?

    thoughts?

ps: where the heck do you guys buy the "DINO" wheel center caps? I dont see them listed anywhere either.

Superperformance has the repo wheels in 16 in, in the Dino Cromodora pattern. The car has prancing ponies on the wheel centers on the 14 inch wheels. i would rather buy new 16's, and add the Dino badges.

    Thanks for any help.

I am still looking for a euro 308 GTS QV.

Congrats! Post up more pics when you can. :)

The chrome bumper piece will be very difficult to locate. I'd see if Dennis McCann or GT Car Parts has anything, if not, then I'd start looking on Ebay and to the overseas suppliers. Superformance has a fiberglass replacement, just no chrome.

What is wrong with your bumper?

    That's a cool car.....glad you snagged it.

Are you changing wheels due to tires?

    Goodyear/FULDA has V rated 14"s still......

    Congrats.

Those look like Dino 246 wheels rather than Dino GT4 wheels. I say that because the Dino GT4 wheels of similar design had a hub cap arrangement covering the wheel nuts, and your centres stick out too far to allow them to be fitted.

its pushed in, its hard to see in the pics, but i think its screwed and has to be replaced. in this pic you can see above the front plate where its mashed into the bodywork. I may be able to loosen the mounts and slide it out, but it has a "kink" in it in the hi res pics on my pc, so i am assuming both parts need to be replaced.

i figured it would be a hard one to find. i saw the single v8 dizzy cap is $500.00+ from the UK ! Such is Ferrari ownership.

Well, 14 inch tires are very limited, not that i can go much over 80 anywhere around where i live. ( not concerned about speed rating)

i would prefer to sell these wheels as a set of 4 to a "real" ( 206 /246 ) Dino owner, and use the funds to buy a set of the replica Chromodora wheels in 16's, for a more modern feel to the car. Going to go with Gold wheels, just for the hell of it.

I can see now where the bumper is wavy.....Could a good body guy straighten that up? might have to be re-chromed, but could be worth it esp if they are NLA..... Mine hit a shopping cart 2 owners ago and has a small dent in it....not going to worry about it at this point.....:) The car was made to be DRIVEN....go drive it.....worry about cosmetics later <wink, wink>

    :)

I had those exact same wheels on my 1977 308gt4 and I really loved the look of the, But they were 6&1/2" x 14" front and rear, and I just could not buy any decent tyres for them any longer. So I sold them and went the way of 16"x7' front, 16"x8" rear. Now I have some tyre choices and can get stickies for track days.

A very nice it looks, too. Congratulations. :)
I had 14" Cromodoras on mine until recently. Like you couldn't get decent tyres at sensible money (XWX's @ £300+ each are neither!!)

I went down this route. 16" Revolutions. Not origional but these were a fairly common upgrade for race GT4's, so that's good enough for me.

Worth noting that the handling / grip / steering feel & lightness and even ride quality have all vastly improved. Highly recommended.

Thanks. Amazed at how much better the car drives!

I believe Mike at QV in the UK has some of these knocking about? I got mine off ebay, worth keeping an eye out.
