I have been sniffing around CS's for quite some time. However, when found a great home for my 348, it was time get serious.

Last week all the stars lined up and the trigger was pulled. It got put on a truck Friday, and they 'guaranteed' Tuesday delivery. Well Tuesday has turned to Wednesday, and I just got a call that it will be Thursday!

I've waited this long. What's another day or so. That's what I keep telling myself!! I have had quite a few Ferrari's over the years. Most have been great. All have been unique in their own way. But I have to say that I haven't been this excited over getting one in quite some time.

Always fun when you get into the next 'generation' model. I gather it isn't red; any hints?

As for spec....... no red and no stripe! titanium-black.

I lived with an F40 for 5 years and the CS is the closest experience that I have found to that. The CS is an incredible driving car.

Dino - I must be hopelessly out-of-date. You sold the 348????

+1 on comparison of F40 to CS. Titanium over black, nice! My first guess is it's 139605. Second guess is 137690. Either way, congrats!! Post delivery pics.

Great shot! Thanks. Is that from the "Dino's lowly 348 thread"?

I found her a great home. The 'adoption' was back in June, to Chupacabra, who is a great enthusiast and is giving 82589 the 'love' she deserves.

On another note, just for fun I was comparing some of the CS vs standard 360 parts prices. Yikes!!

But as the saying goes..... "If you want to play..... you gotta pay"! But those brake parts have to come down in cost at some point!

Congrats!!!! Titanium/black is a STUNNING combo; especially on a CS. The constant delays may be a hassle right now, but remember, good things come to those who wait. ;)

Enjoy it in the best of health!

I HAVE seen it many times...but it sure isn't getting old!! That's a nice pic!

Dino, I'm glad that you are happy with her new home! When you get sick of the CS in 15-20 years, give me a call :)

    Just one more day!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy her in good health! I suspect you'll be out driving the heck out of her for the next several days.
