Thanks. Are there any high cost repairs that seem to be unique to the cs? I've heard that the f1 trans hates reverse and wears the clutch very quickly.

To my knowledge, there are no repair or wear-out issues unique to the CS. There ARE many bits and pieces (body trim, windshield, Lexan rear window, suspension components, interior CF, etc.) which are unique to the CS that no doubt would be uniquely expensive if requiring replacement!

The 'reverse' issue is avoiding backing up on a steep driveway for example.

As I understand it, using reverse on flat areas, like backing into a garage, is not an issue. It is as you say, backing up inclines that wears the clutch since it is not fully engaged in reverse.

Thanks for the info.I can imagine replacing a lexan rear window or a titanium spring could put a little dent in the pocket book.

The thinner (albiet DOT legal) CS windshield is shared with the Scuderia, but anyone getting a replacement should not settle for 360 glass.....

Some of those 'unique' components are the brake rotors @ $8500 each!
