Hey guys, just wanted to share with you some recent mods I had done by Fabspeed and EVOmsit.. I have a 2009 Scud and I shipped my car to Fabspeed in PA for some mods.. Fabspeed General Manager, Jeremy D’Avella, helped facilitate this whole process and was a pleasure to work with. He really knows his stuff! Jeremy was able to coordinate the custom tuning with EVOMSit owner, Todd Zuccone, so that he would be onsite to do all the tuning. (They are based in AZ, but were on a nationwide tour with their EVOMSit Gumpert Apollo) They installed the following items: Fabspeed Headers Fabspeed Catbypass pipes w/70mm Resonators BMC Air Filters Fabspeed 63.5mm x-pipe exhaust with resonators EVOMSit custom ECU tune on VP MS109 race gas On our original dyno run with all stock components, we were running almost 420whp. After the full install and tune, Fabspeed and EVOmsit were able to put down 503.12whp! This car is a BEAST now! My many thanks to Jeremy and Todd for making this happen! Now the car feels and sounds like a whole new animal!! Here is some video from this past week: http://www.youtube.com/v/LniPG5J3nos Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice... You absolutely need to look at the Center lock thread... Your car is literally crying out for it!
great car - I can't use all of my car as it is - can't imagine having more! still love the interior of that car!
The sound improvement is amazing, really gives the Scud that high pitched sound we all love. Great work!
Thanks guys! It really is a whole other beast of a car now! The sound is soooooo addictive.. it sounds like a proper F1 car now and just rips in every gear! It pulls hard all the way to redline! I'm gonna do some vbox runs soon and see what this baby can do! I'm guesstimating that the power at the crank is around 615hp now.. unreal, considering it's all new exhaust and airfilters and tuned for race gas
As long as I own this car, this car won't see a drop of pump gas.. But i would guesstimate around 470'ish to the wheels on pump gas.
Wow 503 HP to the wheels, assume numbers, 80 HP more would surely make the car feel much quicker. It would be interesting to see what the 458 Italia would be producing on the dyno? How expensive was the whole package from EVOmsit?
Incredible sound, definitely the best way to get that F1 sound. So if you're ever in the Dallas area can I have a ride? Pretty please?? Awesome car, enjoy
PM me your contact info and we can meet up at one of the local meets and I'll be more than happy to take you for a spin!
Give me a call or send me an email if you would like some more info on the Fabspeed/EVO Performance package.
I would love to see Jeremy Clarkson drive your car. lol My g*d.....Fabspeed just puts out amazing products and services. I may have to re-arrange my financial priorities next year and get something sooner. Wish I could download that youtube vid. Fabspeed, you guys have plans to make the X-pipe setup for standard 430's?
I'm guessing it might not be readily available where your at but I do know higher octane pumps are available in the states (Vegas has stations offering over 100 octane gas.....104 I think). Also, rberg did estimate 470'ish earlier. I know your probably looking for Fabspeed to chime in but I'm bored.
You have to remember that this package may not be suitable for everybody....and as we were instructed by the owner of the car to tune it for 109 octane that is what we did. Obviously....he is aware that not all gas stations have this octane available at the pump. The customer has the VP109 delivered to his house in 50 Gallon drums. This car puts down 475 RWHP on 93 octane fuel. Hope that helps you out
we have 94 Octane fuel where I live...are we looking at around the same numbers with that octane level on a Scuderia? 475 RWHP works out to about 565 Crank HP (15% loss factoring)....should be as quick as a 458?
I've heard tons of crap about Fabspeed on the quality of their products especially the headers and test pipes and all. But what you have done is completely restore my faith in them. Looks like Fabspeed's gonna get my money on the headers and test pipes. What you have there is a MONSTER. Congrats and enjoy the blast.
