Hi guys, Since I received my 430 several months ago, I have finally given up hope of the dealer coming through with getting me this disappearing dash piece. It looks to have been snatched as a souvenir by someone during the cars shipment, or somewhere between the time I purchased it and received it, as its in all my photos from the dealership.

Since I do not know exactly how to describe it or its name, I am calling it the button, here is a photo of the ac vent with button, and with out.

I did find that Ricambi has the full assembly (and presuming its included) but they don't offer it as a stand alone piece.

    http://www.ricambiamerica.com/parts_catalogs.php?M=FE&P=&V=diag&I=112081

If anyone has any ideas, it would be appreciated! if not, I'll just purchase from Ricambi.

I've not checked with Ricambi but these airball vents aren't so expensive (in Europe anyhow).

The entire vent just pulls out. Its very easy to swap .

you will really need to buy a new diffuser to get hold of that bit, or try and find a breaker with a 430.
one point, if you pick up a diffuser it wont have the silver/grey inner ring like yours has but will be black. maybe you can buy one and just swap over the end cap? huge PITA i know

Guess Ill order the new one on monday, no biggie, but I know calling ricambi I will be spending more than that one part.

dang thief's.... (not ricambi, the stinking guy that stole the bit)

HH-probably came off when the car was detailed and the detailer didn't notice. did you look under the floor mats/seats?

Is the dealer in question where you bought it, or a local dealer? I would think STL Motorsports should be able to find this part for you. A shame if they are not being 100% customer-focused.
