My new Scud. getting turboed...

So I had been looking around for a Scuderia and actually bought a white one. It was a really nice car, but after getting it, I decided white was not for me. I really wanted red like my old F430. I found a 434 mile red car and picked it up a couple of days ago. I was planning on getting the white car done in time for the SEMA show. Kevin from Underground Racing bought the white Scud to do a build on it. After Kevin gets the white car done, I'm shipping my red car for the conversion. I was going to get a 458, but still can't get over the looks yet. I may just wait for the Scud version of the 458. Anyway, here are a few pics of my Scud. It's getting tinted and will be lowered with some wheels shortly. After driving my twin turboed Gallardo, it just seems so slow.. Can't wait to get it turboed!

Congrats on your new Scud! You must have motoroil running through your veins because I've never heard of a Scuderia described as slow.

 

I went to UT miss that place!

Nothing like HP, I have been looking at a Scud with Novitec Turb's.

Curious about the white one and est. cost of Underground vs Novitec conversion.

599 looks like it wants to run on the Lake Roads!

NoGoTec isn't the way to go. My friend has been there & done that.

 

Truly stunning car! Must agree with you that the red one is much more prettier than the white one. I wouldn't turbo it yet, just enjoy it the way it already is and ultimately was meant to be

With regards to the 458, the 430 Scuderia just looks meaner and "done". Couldn't agree with you more.

 

SW doesn't leave any of his cars original.

 

Can't help it, I have 3 cars that make over 1000rwh and after you drive one of those everything else seems slow.. My ZO6 is my track car and it's perfectly set up for that, NA..
I'm working on downpipes, ECU flash and maybe some upgraded turbos for my wife's X5M as we speak, hoping to make around 700hp..

Streetking - if you end up getting aftermarket wheels for your scud, please let me know if you'd like to sell the stock scud wheels. I'm in Houston, and could likely pick them up.

This is funny, you should chat with a friend of mine, he is a member here acicchelli . He is in the same boat as you. He had a sledge hammer 911 and a tt Gallardo 1200hp. He talks just like u saying everything is slow now in comparison. He now has a 599 Hgtc Black like yours and just bought a new X5m for his wife. He is sending his new 560 Gallardo to Heafner to get it tt'd.

I am interested in how the Scud tt turns out. It should be FUN. If you like to travel we are having a private 1/4 mile track rental in October. Acicchelli will bring his cars 911 pdk TT, Gallardo 560tt, X5m. Other local car nuts (including me)will be bringing CLS 63, Cl 63 Renntech, LP640 and other cool hot cars. Also one of the GM Corvette plant test drivers possibly will bring out a ZR1 to ring it out. We are having the track meet in Bowling Green, KY at Beech bend raceway.

 

Leave one scud stock IMO! O/W holy s++t batman!!!!!! 700HP car for the wife just took things to another level!!!!! You need to get your hands on a Veyron and stack a supercharger on it!!!!!

 

Congrats SW! It's gonna be a beast of a car! Can't wait to see this car in action!

 

I will let you know, I usually keep the stock wheels, they come in handy for when the car goes in for service, alignment ect..

I sold it when I got the 599..

Beech Bend is a great track, I have run alot of Vipers and ZR1s there back in the day..
