thank you. that's a good idea, there's one more hurdle: the cinderblock base of the divider. i remove that, then suddenly i'm tearing up all the concrete. by that time, might has well have built the second, and inevitable garage. it's a master plan.

The cobra is made by Superformance. Very nice quality, very true to the original chosmetically, but with all the usual modern upgrades of a cad/cam developed frame and modern components. best of all, no kit build it yourself issues. hard to find this kind of bang for the buck.

 

Fantastic company, Superformance. I want so much to get their GT40.

BTW, I think you are right keeping the look of the old building and not adding too many posters and other automobilia that might distract. Your building has a lot of charm and character, which sets off the sports cars nicely.

 

Very Nice!, I had aquired a 68 427SO with side winder first to drop into my original 68 shelby GT500, then decided to save it for my dream car. And after looking at it for a couple of years I wisely sold the engine. I decided it would be better to find a car with the right engine.

I tried to include a picture of the engine, but find my upload file is full....how do I delete the pictures and empty my file?

Crazy David a superb collection. Mine would be similar except a Lambo or two. Still working on the Enzo and Scud!

This is AMAZING, I just love the look of your "garage"/museum, it's awesome and the lighting makes it look even better! This makes me wanna take a trip to Indonesia, just to see your collection! Bellissimo! Thanks alot for sharing! I saw your kids in some of the pictures, when they hit 16, or whatever age you can begin to drive in Indonesia, you're going to be the best dad in the world!! You're going to have alot of "other sons" when their friends come over too, hahahha. Take care. Keep up the great work!

@mark, thanks for your kind compliment. you should take trip to the other half of the globe. Not just to see the garage but many other things too. BTW my boy haven't show much interest in cars though...I am not sure if I should a bit concern or a bit relief

Currently I am working on the other side of the spectrum, restoring 16 classic rear-engined Fiat microcars and a 356B. Would love to update on the progress later.

What a great thread! I spent some time yesterday drooling through the pages of this thread in a trance and haven't even got half way through it. Beautiful cars and beautiful garages..

 

As you will notice going thru the pictures, there are some really great garages and car collections, some modest with nice cars and some that are on the list for Extreme Makeover and Over-Hauling. Don't be shy, take some pictures of yours and post them!

 

Def a wide range of collections and garages all nice in there own way. I will be closing on my first home Sept. 1rst which also means my first 2 car garage. Unfortunately I do not have anything worthy that is worth posting but as the garage evolves and the collection grows, I will post for sure!
