Yup it's the 4.4L V8 that sees duty in the current X5M and X6M. It's a pity that the days of NA engines are all but over, taken over by downsizing and FI due to the strict emission standards.

You should hear one with a Tubi fitted on. That is what a road-legal F1 car will sound like.

What I like about the AMG V8 is the low, bassy note. Sounds like the earth below you is rumbling as a warning sign before an earthquake hits
