Cars and Coffee - Great Falls, VA - Photo Thread

Hmmm, used to be listed as 7-9AM. The first time I went there this spring I got there at 6:55 and was the 3rd car there. This past weekend I got there at 7:10 or so and there were only two spots left! Side lot was filled by 7:45.

 

Yes, I figured I better put the starting time up by 15 minutes in case the person wanted a parking spot in the main lot.
People still say 7 - 9 am, but like you said, it is pretty full by 7:30.

 

That is a great looking car (probably performs great too)!

I heard that 16m's came with an alacantra interior as the only choice but that particular car was special ordered with red leather on the seats.

 

Yes, I have to admit, I was pretty lucky (I have some pretty great friends)! And the pics I got from inside the car are pretty neat, too. I'll have to figure out how to post them.....

Originally, we were going to come up in an older 944, which would have been a fun ride, but just not the same - it was a change in plans I could live with!

I should be there early as well. Just got my camera fixed!

 

I may try to stop by early tomorrow, but have a photo shoot with some fitness models at noon

You were right Bill! Thanks!!! I'm still drooling, that is my favorite car of all time. Seeing Ovi's SL65 Black Series was a real treat too, as well as all the other beautiful cars

I missed out! I would have loved to see the SL65 and the aerial atom in person. Great pics Bill.

 

Lol last week was the first time I stopped by and he wasn't there. I will see it in the future for sure. I love the atmosphere and the people seem really nice.

Thanks, Bill for the pictures. You've managed to capture my essence, if not my good side. To be fair, though, I can't say that I have a good side. ;-)

As for my Ariel Atom experience: It was everything I expected it to be. Power-to-weight ratio defined! A driving experience that is a feast for the senses in the traditional wind-in-your-hair-bugs-in-your-teeth fashion. It was over too soon, like any theme park e-ticket ride.

Kickin' it old school in the UUNET hat. I like to tell people it's the most expensive hat I own. ( I started buying MCI/WorldCom @ ~$19/share and rode it all. The way. Down...)

 

My wife and I had a great time! A big thanks to Bill P for hanging out with us for a bit and showing us around. It's a bummer that we got there as late as we did, but we definitely enjowed the cars we saw!
