    Need to replace the radiator before it quits on me. Anybody have suggestions on where to find one and what I can expect to pay for the part?

    I am looking into starting a reproduction service for Ferrari radiators with extreme accuracy being the goal, at prices that might be reasonable. Unfortunately, this will be in a few months time as the options will be evaluated.

    They work with aluminum and do great work, at a good price, less than the other supplier, whose name I forget. I sent them my radiator, as an "L" was not in their patterns,

    Have you considered taking it to an experienced radiator shop. They can disassemble it and build a new one. Standard operating procedure. When completed and painted it looks factory fresh.

    Hey, that is offensive to some of us :) :) :) :) :)

    it is true however !

    Its not a special radiator requiring extra ordinary skills, a GOOD radiator shop is all you need.

    It's an option especially if locating a new one is way too expensive or takes too long. I don't want to wait to get the car for too long. What's the typical lead time for getting a radiator recored? And I assume the car is out of commission while that's in process, so it would have to be sequential to other service being done before the car comes my way.

    My car was pretty simple (a 72 Dino GT), I actually combed out vents myself for cost reduction.....No big deal.....

    I was quoted about £600 for aluminium rad from - http://www.radtec.co.uk/ I have a radiator on an e type of theirs - it is gorgeous.
    Also www.grsmotorsport.co.uk quoted around £475 for the same but I have no experience of their work.
    Don't know if this is any use but I am going with radtec when the time comes!
