Henceforth, please do not apply the term "unload" with regard to the transfer of Challenge Stradale ownership between enthusiasts. ;)

Does that also include: 'move', 'hustle', 'palm off', and the ever popular one from wives.... "get that thing out of the garage"? :D

I count 5 Fchatters actively in the market to purchase a CS. Who else and what are your specs?

Hey Chas, you just posted a pic of you "unloading" your cs from the truck to your driveway... looked like that was a great day! ;)

Hi stokpro. I'm looking for a well cared for one or possibly two owner car that isn't going to need clutches, brakes, exhausts etc.I am going to keep the 355 for cruising but would like to drive the cs in the fca track events.I can live with a repaired bumper or fender but not anything major.I would slowly bring it back to top condition if the price was right so I would rather have a car that's been enjoyed but not abused by the owner. I love the stripe. I think yellow is fantastic but red and blue are also great colors. I'm not sure if it might be better to get a 05 or 06 430 for the same money with a better choice of well cared for cars.Anyway, that's my two cents worth.

CS vs 430... only you can decide. Both are great cars, but different. I recommend driving both if you haven't already. Striped cars are definitely more rare and command a premium. Out of the 29 CS's currently for sale I'm sure there's one that fits the bill. Good luck with your hunt!

No, not yet. I'm still enjoying my CS every time I took it for spin, it gives me a wide smile from ear to ear.

Thanks for the good wishes stokpro. The owner of the body shop I use just informed me that his cousin just put his blue cs on the market. Its the one on e-bay with the white leather seats.I'll have to check that one out. Who knows maybe ferrame will decide to put his on the market. I'd love an excuse to visit L A. and check out a yellow one.

I was very interested in that NART blue car in the north east, until I dug beneath the surface.

About 6 months ago, was that the LA Stradale on FerrariAds.com - yellow with black leather interior? Had 6K or 7K mileage? That one looked nice!

I read some of the other earlier threads. It sounds like this is the car they were talking about. Would you care to share what you found out or would you rather do it privately via e-mail?

Yep that was it, but mileage was 8,100 at the time of listing. Also has yellow stitching and aftermarket stripe.

    FWIW, owner/seller is an Fchatter.

Just curious........is there a negative towards an aftermarket stripe?

All the 'originality' nut balls will say yes. But the reality is, if you like it, it's a winner.

Nope, nothing negative in my eyes as long as it can be easily removed. But I also wouldn't pay a premium for it like I would for an "OEM factory applied" stripe. Speaking of stripe premium, there's currently a $21k asking price variance between stripe and sans stripe. Ask the guys who are shopping for an oem striped CS and they'll likely tell you they won't settle for "aftermarket". Chas, what happened to that aftermarket stripe on your CS?
