What do u guys think about 599 prices now...? Used 2007 with 5k to 10k km going for
$690k to $740k? OMVs around 250k. Its a lovely enzo sourced V12. I heard one in market transacted at 650k even...

arrgh but sometimes the heart rules....[/QUOTE]

That sounds very attractive. Any idea on OMV? I have a friend with DBS. Sex on wheels..

I think the 599 is a "bargain" now & with a bit of customising, it can be quite attractive. Most are also not trashed as badly as the V8s so condition are usually quite good. How's the international value of 599?

Did u ever buy yr boss's black Lp?

Saw an amazing no plate S5555S (or triple 5s) on a DBS in my office last month then a 33 few nights ago in Katong. Damn, I love the sound it makes!

The OMV is low... F458 OMV is in the 300s.
I think should squeeze price somemore.

    re-sale market is cruel huh.

There was a report in ST which said that the new 5 series had very low OMVs.

It's a lot of Ss I saw. Nice right? Must be bloody valuable.

Incidentally, I checked on the no plate of the only Lamborghini Miura that graced our road. It was S88 or SS88 & that plate is now on an '09 997C4 targa or S.

ah yes....not many of us qualify as that! Maybe wheels with sex...

Yup a lot of them are in extremely good condition. Plus the interiors looks very nice even
after so many years... loads of CF and even CF backed seats. Can mod a bit to let the V12
    bellow too..

Nope. He is keen to sell to me. But the car hasnt grown on me. I put on more than half
the mileage it has clocked up but beginning to feel the age of the chasis. Plus the tight
space inside putting a damper on my ..uh...noctunal activities...hehe

Think its a greyish AM but not the DB9 or DBS model. Yes, plate is SS 5555 or something. Owner lives near to my new place. BTW, saw u driving Sunday near Padang. Was in the
white GTR next to you when u put the roof up. The exos sounded great when u floored it towards beach road.

Yeah...low OMVs courtesy of HSM when they were agents...At 600k u think it will be good
value? considering new 458 a mil with options.

Was wandering around PML on Sunday. Checking out the new 5. Thinking car would look great with mod wheels. The 535 with single turbo
and 306 hp is selling at $294,000. Cant remembe the omv but it sure was low. I read somewhere a basic spec Panamera 2 wheel drive model is $297k.
Car has very nice interior IMO and will look great with larger mod wheels too. 740i is $372k

Max, I think later batches of 599 around late 2008, maybe 2009 had higher OMVs. Correct Lung? As to why, I am unsure but have heard stories about it.

To guys like me and Tim, even an NSX would qualify but that decision is not solely up to anyone of us.

For 599, depends on reg. year then the rest as early ones do not have the HGTC? pack unless later upgraded will be attractive. I've not heard of any issues with 599 but that's because I don't know many of them who has one so maybe I should also wait for this instead of always thinking abt a 575.

Oh yes, I remember a white GTr, my kid was complaining of the sun so close it up. U should've honked :)

Aye hello, u can leave yr nocturnal activities on the bed or sofa lah & maybe the bonnet if you're brave :) but I think on the rear deck would be easier :D

Some of the Scuds had varying OMVs as well & I thought it actually went higher after they became PI :)

The 535 sounds interesting. Didn't know that it has turbo too.

That is a very nice plate!

You must have really good sources to find out that it was on a Miura.

It was SS88 and a yellow Muira. Hint: owned by the same family that now has a Zonda!

Speaking of those. Audi, please if you haven't, scan all those old photos of unique cars that you have into softcopies for record.

I love to collect old pictures of transportation. Just bought postcards of HMS Repulse, Prince of Wales & 1900s Trams in Singapore. Strangely, I have not come across any vintage Ferrari advertisements.
