To answer a few questions: 1. Yes, Paul is over the moon and after helping me all these years I'll be working with him to make this car a Platinum winner in a few years. The plan is always to pile on the mileage and have fun. He just registered under the handle 'Rosemeyer' as he was his favorite pre-war racing ace. 2. Yes I have driven it and it is really similar to the 308 but much less refined. It feels a lot lighter but lacks the torque of the bigger engine. For sure it is an excellent driving experience and I look forward to fine tuning it. 3. The car is a local car and has spent all of its life in Ontario. It was originally delivered to Yonge Steeles Motors as one of 6 cars in 1971. It is a Euro car with an MPH speedometer and english gauges which is how the Canadian cars were shipped. Not plated until 1973 the ownership shows it as a 1972 when in fact its VIN places its production between Dec 70-Jan 71. It is the sister car to the one Daytona Auto has for sale. 4. Special thanks goes out to F-Chatter 'audionut' who sold us the car. Fact is he had people calling him offering WAY more money than what we paid but he saw how special it was to us and offered a really excellent price. It was a gesture of true kindness to a fellow enthusiast.

That was one hell of a show tonight! Anyone in the Nobleton, Bolton, maybe even Woodbridge area can attest to it. Lots of lightning and rain made for nice sight seeing.

Im surprised everyone loves those iPhone pictures Tonight: Orange LP640 on the 401 Westbound near Yonge around 9pm
Good to see you liking Toronto. (I'm on TS as well Stephan.) Was at a pub in North York tonight facing Yonge St. Got treated to 3 Nissan GT-Rs... (Super Silver, Gun Metallic and Red), couple Bentleys (including a Supersports?!!?!?!), a mint Sepang Blue/Silver sideblade R8 V10 owned by somebody in the vicinity (I see it driving up and down Yonge St., Doris, and Empress when I'm in the area), an Aston DBS and a few F-Cars (Red 599, Black 430, Yellow 360). Not bad for a Monday night. (On a side note no one seems to be uptown or even spot any decent cars uptown. We should change that as North York and area are full of ridiculous exotics )
Just spotted a beautiful 599 off of Spadina in the Chinatown/Kensington Market area at around 11am this morning. I rarely see any cars of that caliber in that area...
I was just telling Stephan the other night, I see so many exotics in North York, I don't even think about it any more. Bayview & York Mills is gold mine for spotting.
