Too bad I wasn't even around then, when the Muira arrived. Just hope someone brings it in on the 28day scheme but with the crazy taxation payable, I'm not hopeful.

Now BMW is switching to single twin-scroll turbo instead of two turbos, once again due to emission regulations.

Wow there was actually a Miura that landed on our tiny island? Incredible! I assume it's has long been exported?

Tyre burst during high speed run destroyed the car. Driver was lucky to be alive. Many many years ago, I was still in liquid form then!

That sounds very attractive. Any idea on OMV? I have a friend with DBS. Sex on wheels..[/QUOTE]

Many 599 are garage queen. The 3 year old ones were sold at $950k and regulars should have paid around $900k. OMV range from $250/70k the later cars had omv of $370/400 omv n were sold for $1050k. Fair price for a 3 yr old should range from $650 to $680k. I don't know the omv of the db9

Hmmm. Doesn't look like a Porsche. Look like a product from a small independent company from the Scandinavian countries. On the fence about this car. But yea, why isn't it a coupe?

early 599s cant be upgraded with HGTE kit. Well, you can still add on the suspension parts and exos and rims, but the software to the gearbox cant be done. I know someone who has done it on his 599, he commented that except for slightly louder exos and more aggressive gear changes when he is flooring it, you wont really feel the diff. Standard car specs are more than adequate. I think its still a very modern car even after 3+ years...

In the looks department, it certainly hasn't showed any signs of age yet. Still looks like new whenever I see one!

    Just saw this on Autocar.

"Insiders at the event said both the power and displacement of the petrol engine would be increased for production. The concept’s 22-inch alloys are unlikely to make production, it was revealed, while the side exhausts may move around to the rear.

For production the 918 will get a touch-screen infotainment system and cameras will replace the side mirrors, with the images appearing on the instrument cluster.

It was also said at the event that the 918 is being developed wearing Boxster and Cayman bodies and it will be offered in both hard-top and soft-top forms for production."
