Iam trying to get my 09 Scuderia that Iam buying speced to my liking before it gets to me...One thing that I found scattered info on is exhaust..What do Scud owners think are the best at quality, weight savings, power gain and sound quality in that order...I dont have emissions test in my area if that counts...AND of course cost within reason. Hi and Congrats on the SCUD! I use Kreisseig Headers on mine with Cargraphic 200 Cell SPorts Cats and the Cargraphic 430RS Rear Muffler. The result, for me, is perfect. The tone of the exhaust note is now High-Pitched, the engine revs alot more briskly and there is fire shooting out the exhaust tips on Up-shifts & Down-Shifts.

The Kresisseig Headers are not cheap, but damn they look good and the sound they produce is awesome.

Jsut so you are aware - The Kresisseig Headers will HAVE to be modified with a pair if Air-Injection Rails in order to avoid a CEL issue. No biggie really.

    Cheers, Arj

If you intend to use your car on the track, be aware of any local raceway rules on noise limits before you invest in an aftermarket exhaust system. I just did a track day at Laguna Seca, and everyone was rejoicing in the fact that the organizers were able to negotiate a special 103 db limit for the day, up from the normal 92 db limit. A stock Scuderia will barely pass, I'm told.

Fabspeed all the way man! Here is a thread I posted on all the Fabspeed mods I did and ended up gaining approx 85whp with a complete exhaust setup and ECU tune..

They will also add the air rails needed for your car at no extra charge.

Call Fabspeed and ask to talk to Jeremy.. he knows his stuff!

I am still under warranty with my Scud - will the after market exhaust products invalidate it?

Not likely. Some dealers/FNA will try and tell you it will, but they need to prove the part has caused an issue. Dont be bullied!

You could always get the bypass switch installed. I have a setup done by Ferrari of Seattle where I can simply turn a switch to open up the bypass and keep it open. Sounds as good as having an aftermarket exhaust system and probably a whole lot cheaper.

I have been for a ride in Atomic80's Scud. The exhaust bypass switch should be a factory standard. With no bypass you can easily have a conversation in the car while traveling at freeway speeds. With the bypass the exhaust notes increases in volume and has a more "raw" tone. Sounds really nice at low rpm. I do not recall any drone at all even when cruising.
