Bumped into Lewis Hamilton this evening

Very cool, must have been a very welcome surprise. I am of to Spa next week to watch him race, and have a couple of Maclaren hospitality passes. Cant wait.

 

Shouldnt he be in Woking or something? I am sure it was him who said the break in F1 was going to damage his team!!!

But hey, can you blame him? I thought that ***** Doll was alot taller than she seems in that pic.

Schumacher goes to Utah to rock climb because no one recognises him! Who woulda thought the US would be the perfect F1 driver hiding place.

I have to hand it to that area for being very Euro, and many many other things. Anyway, It's not a big deal catching an outside sidewalk table at midnight to catch dinner which I always dug when in the area.

I remember reading a story about Schumacher at the (2004?) indianapolis GP, Schumacher was stopped close to the track for speeding, and the officer said:

'I know the racing is in town, but who do you think you are, Mario Andretti or something?'

To which MS replies:

''No, I am Michael Schumacher''

I read somewhere that Schumi is a big fan of the Harley Davidson VRod, owns something like 16 of them. A few years ago he came over for the USGP a week early and rode one from Texas to Indianapolis for the race.

Some cameras today embed info about the camera angle (portait or landscape) into the picture. Did you rotate the image "by hand" after importing it off of the camera? If so, and the rotation info was still in the .jpg, then other "smart" software might rotate it again.

Or it could be that your software knows the image is rotated and rotates it for you when it displays it. But when you upload it you are uploading it in the non-rotated state.

THAT is funny. I was talking with a attorney in Indy the other day about F1, and he said all his buddies and he would go to the F1 events while it was in town but they were one of very few locals who actually went. Most of the people were out-of-towners. Point being: the locals had not a clue as to the global magnitude they were dealing with when F1 came to town.
