In neutral it sounds normal, but when I put it in the gear it takes a very long time before it accelerates to speed. The car is very slow, ... When I put it in 1 gear and give full throttle it takes a lot of time before it moves. What can be? Is it the valve guides?

    Thanks.

Really not enough information, you'll need to scan the car and look over the data list.

If I had to guess it sounds more like a lack of fueling than a misfire since you didn't mention it running rough.

Look for a dirty/faulty mass airflow sensor, low fuel pressure or poor fuel quality.

If it sounds normal in Neutral and you're having problem getting it to go...

    Could it be your clutch/transmission??

Agree with above. Need more info to diagnose.

What are the RPMs doing? What else are you hearing, seeing, smelling?

Could be a slipping clutch perhaps...but as INTMD8 says, really not enough info to make a more educated guess.

The strange ting is that the when I give throttle the RPM continuous to rev after I have released the clutch, but the car moves very slowly. And the sound is silent

As stated above it sounds like your clutch is slipping. Much cheaper than a damaged engine. ;-)

Yep, sounds like the clutch. Check a thread I had recently called "Analyze this" and you'll see some similarities...or do a search on "slipping clutch" and you'll find all kinds of threads that reflect your issue.

Increaseing revs + no acceleration = dead clutch.

Sounds like a worn clutch to me also. :):)

Easiest way to check Reza is to start the car, put in 4th gear, pull the park brake on night and slowly let the clutch out as if you were to drive away. :):)

If the engine stalls, the clutch is ok. If the car sits there and "drives", then the clutch is REALLY worn out. :D:D

Have a chop at that and let us know how you go. :):)

Cool man, time for a new clutch. :D:D

Dont drive the car anymore, you dont want to score/damage that flywheel. ;);)
