    Anybody has this done? I keep seeing adverts for the DMS Automotive ECU remap which reckons on 525bhp from the F430 and I can't help thinking this is a bit too good to be true? Surely if it was that easy Ferrari would have done it to the Scud as they aren't exactly short of "car tuning" knowledge?

    Basically if anyone here has had it done:

    1. have you had much of a noticable gain?
    2. is it a smoot gain or have you lost grunt elsewhere in the rev range?
    3. Does your 430 still work!?!?

    "smoot" is how I would have said SMOOTH if I were Irish. But I'm not. So please accept this revision.

    I had my F430 done about 4 years ago when they first came on to the scene. It is much more pwerfull from acceleration than standard car. Please dont ask me mpg etc cos i never looked at that. The car has done nearly 49,000 miles now and has no probs with any mal function. But once the 458 comes in Nov then this will go into occassional use but i plan to do the chip conversion on that(458) too.

    That's interesting! Do you mind if I ask (if you know) whether you had a generic tuning file or a custom remap, and what parameters were changed please?
