    Anyone have any issues with loading a game and the screen goes black? Don't know much about it, that is what my boys told me...

    Mine sometimes freezes like that on need for speed shift and sometimes on the loading screen of red dead redemption other than that the other games play fine. Now a few months ago my old 80 gig suffered the yellow light of death while playing final fantasy 13. But it was also 3 years old and had alot of use.

    Yes, I have had that issue. No fix except to power it off (hold power button until it beeps) and back on.

    The only game I play is COD4, FWIW.

    I will tell them to try that-It gets alot of use and is about 1 yr old. My son said it only happens on Modern Warfare game
