He is working from a friend's shop now so space very limited. Just glad that my car is surrounded by exotics so she is in good company. Yup, engine must come out so I'll re-do the belts again. Getting a complete pump from the factory but the Italians are on holiday and apparently there was a manufacturing problem with the impeller so got to await a fresh batch. I suspect a bearing failed as there was screeching noise and Ben says lots of metal debris around that area. Wouldn't want to think what would have happened if it gave way along NS at high rpm! As for the UK 512s, they are all asking for an arm, leg and testicle. Nothing below 90k sterling. Even 355s, 360 prices have firmed up by 10% from a year back, let alone rarer cars like the BB.
Mine also does that and I can hear the tank expanding as it de-pressurises. Don't know whether over time this leads to my tank being compressed but for the life of me, I cannot get anywhere near the stated 82litres. Even with warning light, most I can fill is 60-62litres hence my limited range somewhat. I checked with the US 355 boys and it seems to be the norm for them as well.
Is the CF you are talking about in the engine bay? i heard some customer's request for replacement were turned down. The guy very TL. Obviously car still under warranty.
I had one of the first few Gran tourismo. Enjoyed the car and it did not give me any problems during the 21 months when i had it. As for HSM, some people complain about them but i did not have any issues with their service guys. Look for Sam. He is the service manager and he is very helpful.
My 456 has a pretty big tank because of the bigger car, can't remember how much but it was a lot of money everytime I top her up. Think I saw 85litres sometime back & it wasn't emptied. Think Murcie & Testa had 90L tanks. One thing for sure, I don't want to over tighten the cap when cold! Especially trackdays
Hello, remember the time when your Egear hydraulic pipes burst & engine bay smoked? They did take parts off their showroom car for you & fixed overnight. Mel & us were all together then. Or did they not? Mel calls the shot so he can get things done immediately within means while other companies must follow procedure which we can't blame either. This is the advantage of a boutique dealer with hands-on approach.
Czech made? Love those B & C pillars, haven't seen anything so hard & sexy for a long time. Do you think it's waxed? A pillar looks enhanced though
The 100k is a number that was initially tossed around... there is no firm number as yet as there are no PI cars. Its not the part that is the concern. Its the programing of the software that is the issue. If you have a fault code that needs to be analyzed that job can only be done by IA. There was a PI California that came in that had a electronic problem... importer LL had to go to IA to get it solved if not he could not sell the car. Margin all gone!
Yes its the CF in the engine bay. I think this has nothing to do with IA. Factory is slow and tight about replacing.
I thought KBS has or is ordering the diagnostic machine for Ferrari? Lucky for me, I can send my GTC to KL dealer.
Aston Martin Cygnet & emission control. http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/247930/ So, car companies have to stay BIG to survive otherwise they will be forced out of business. I was told by someone that some car companies squeeze impossible rear seats into their cars so it can be classified as 2+2 with a lower grouped insurance. I have a client who deals in buying & selling carbon footprint for countries. Those who adds more carbon gets fined & we're talking billion dollar business. He barter trades for them. Some plant forests, recycle, convert to gas. What has the world become? Maybe we should start selling plots on top of HDB flats for people to plant rice
