My drivers side belt just gave up the ghost.

Time to send the whole set (both) for a rehab.

Problem is, I can't figure out how to remove them.

The inertia reel assembly plastic covers the bolt in the floor and I'm afraid to try to take it off with brute force.

Can someone please post a step-by-step on hew to remove the seatbelt assemblies from a Dino?

I'm surprised John Corbani didn't post up something on it, but I can't find it.

    Thanks!

No technical knowledge here, but I am curious...

When you say "gave up the ghost", do you mean that they actually failed or are just looking worn beyond what you would consider acceptable?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

The female part fell apart, top plastic broken in 4 pieces, spring, internals fell out.

One of my reels is sticky as well, just needs a re-do all together.

Good thing you didn't have any accidents or it could have been nasty relying on that.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Do you have someone you prefer to restore the belts? I'm looking for someone to do a set as well
