Was speaking with the director of this the other day, he is a very switched on guy that has big aspirations for this show. He has managed to secure some really nice cars from O/S and is still working on a couple of other surprises, from what was explained to me this is going to be heaven for OHOS lovers.

I met him over in Monterey and to be honest I have quite a few concerns. I really want this event to be successful.

 

Pity like to go but I'm busy that weekend.

 

I had quite a detailed meeting with him Tristan and from what I heard I think he has put together something that can be built on and become quite successful, there were a couple of small issues that did'nt grab me but I don't think that would discourage people at this point. Peoples opinions on these things are always different from all angles and to a degree it's a suck it and see situation for the first one, the cost of putting this on is enormous and as I was told if they get a break even result it gives them something to build on, this is where you have to remember that the event must attract the general public and not just car enthusiasts. I think if he can keep it running for 3 years we will have a world class show here. I have to say that for year one they have attracted a good spread of vehicles.

I can think of 3 Rolls Royce cars that would win outright.
all owned by the same gent.

 

There are some pretty nice cars coming from O/S.

 

will not make any difference.

 

I hope so, this event can show the world what we Aussies can do, there are quite a few international guests attending

 

lets hope the judges judge the cars on correct detail as opposed to over restored "Raffled" American standards.
