is that Eddie Jordan the drunken Irish git with the microphone ? Must have been early in the day, he still looks sober
Did I ever mention the time I was knighted by Queen Elizabeth? It was for services to sports. see? I can make up stories too,
I much prefer the roadster- with the European headlights. The very late production cars are the ones to have.
Yep, the last of the disc brake cars are the most collectible of the roadsters, and the aluminium cars are the most collectible of the (road-going) gullwings. Here are some pics of the red car out and about in the wild: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not that I'm aware of? The roadsters had a slightly different exhaust than the gullwing, which (IIRC) accounted for the slightly higher power output over the gullwing. But they were also heavier than the gullwing, so they weren't quite as quick in a straight line. Also, gullwings were available with three different gear ratios, whereas I think the roadster was available with only one (but I'd have to double-check that... memory ain't what it used to be).
If it's a s1 roadster with hardtop fitted, then he's got two of the most beautiful cars on earth in his garage!
