Run in is more to be familiar with the car,give the car a bit of time to get going. I don't see how it will damage the car if y push it to 9000 rpm.
Speaking of that Max, I don't remember that a boat has an odometer, does it? How do we know how much it has travelled? Is there something like a blackbox in yours? Yes definitely! Whack the bugger & I trust Lung will be back to change some fluids after 1000km or so.
Congrats mate!!!! The wait was surely worth it!!!! Mate, you can do a nice run in with us Sept 10 Hari Raya weekend. We are going up 9th after lunch. PCS track day 10th morning, Maximus afternoon and then TCC track day 11th lunch time. Then drive back to Singapore 12th. Figure we should get close to 1000km on this weekend alone... I intend on wearing out my Corsa's by the end of the weekend then can go to full road tires...
For me, running in a car is not just for engine purpose but for all the parts in the car to start to work together. Tire, brakes etc all need to bed-in moderately and also letting you to get use to the car performance and behaviour. Anyway, Lung, more pictures pls!!!!!!!!! U planning on a Las Vegas style spotlight on top of yr house like the one on top of the casino...cant remember that pyramid like place You should see my neighbour...for sure u will feel like u got whack on yr head! I like to zoom at Tanjong beach.. U never read the latest Science journal ah....a lot of dark holes and matter in the universe..
