    Lovely.

I'm glad this came up - are cowboy boots and/or square tip boots and /or round-toe boots more comfortable than standard footwear?

If you get the right pair they are very comfy. I slip in some gel insoles and I'm happy

Sheplers.com has a nice selection and they come in various widths

Think I'll b buying a few more pairs

Definately some Stingray boots to wear to Corvette shows :)

    Nice looking boots Hubbster!

Mine: Lucchese 1888 distressed calfskin ropers for "casual". Tony Lama black small quill ostrich for "dress". Love them both. But if I don't wear them regularly they shrink enough that it hurts my toes until they stretch back out.

My next pair will be custom, handmade, with plenty of room for my toes.

Cant drive w them, use regular shoes for driving. Cowboy boots are great bcus you can wear them w jeans or a tux and they look great both ways.

They are very popular outside the USA. I actually wear them more out of USA than here :)

I had a pair of boots when I was about 12. Very comfy! :D

It was a shame when I outgrew them... I really should get another pair someday. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Thanks for the link, I've been thinking about a starter (i.e. inexpensive) pair of boots.

A couple questions from someone with wide feet and tall toes:

How are boots for toe height? I have a few "hammertoes" so I need clearance and toe section that is not rigid. Steel toe are a no-go.

The size conversion chart in the above link doesn't include a U.S. & Canada 13, any thoughts as to why? Generally speaking I'm a 13EEE.

I just got a pair of white cracked leather Justin boots, not sure where I'll wear them with because of the color, but I sure like looking at them =D

So I was on Oprah's website lately reading up on the latest fashions. Oprah's writer says there is no correct way to wear cowboy boots (i.e. they are a fashion don't). I'm hoping Oprah's writer just doesn't have enough vision. I'd be interested in seeing how you guys pull these off head to toe.

Oprah's writers are uptight man hating communists. Who cares what they think ?

Cowboy boots can go well with jeans, suit, tux, just about anything except shorts

Although women can wear them w shorts & look good

Even though I live in Texas, where country lifestyle is pretty common,I actually dont wear them.

However,a relative of mine works at Justin, has been for 30 or so years. Hes got a high position.
When I visit his house,he usually has some boots that havent been released to the public yet.

I wore a pair of Lucchese "Classics" at my wedding. Hell if an Asian guy can get away with it in Montana, then I'd think any of you could.
