http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elyxIhMW_No Massa passing Webber at Fuji. IMO I dont see any different than Barrichello's pass on Schumacher at Hungary, but yet everyone is making a big deal about it.
Good find! It's almost identical..... And, IIRC, your implication is correct - In this case, "no harm, no foul"...... He made a single move, that shove Phil to the wall. "That's racin'....." Cheers, Ian
Yes I remember it, I even screen shot it, at the time because I was questioning whether Massa was legal running over those lines. Webber is renowed for this sort of move.
We're talking to deaf men ears' chaps. I brought it up last month as well, no video though. There was even a chap who got very angry because I said Webber was involved yet he was adamant that he wasn't!
That probably why he does it because he thinks he can get away with it. Webber is dangerous and it showed when he passed Heikki at Spain.
and when you showed me the clip I apologised, don't carry on , you're behaving like all the other geese here
No difference? At the end of the barrier Webber is like 2 feet away from the white line. Details matter.
He's not. And the end of the pitwall was *close*. Indeed. You want to differentiate/argue/debate over a few inches at 150+ mph? I could argue that Mark just isn't as good as Michael - If he was he would have squeezed even harder..... Bottom line, no harm, no foul, they were *racing*, and in F1 a single move is allowed (at least for now..... Seems like you push someone, you get in trouble these days....) "Don't like the heat?......" comes to mind. Cheers, Ian
Nope. You have a different definition of "a few" than I do. And I could argue that in 2010 Webber is every bit as good as Michael, probably better. Webber has already *crushed* Rosberg. Pardon the crappy screen shot, but this is just for illustration purposes. Barrichello was much closer to the wall. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think you may want to look at it again, Massa was just as close to the wall as Barrichello. Both Webber and Schumacher moved over once. I don't see the difference.

Not that I want to get involved with this endless argument, but Schumacher made 1 steady move to box Barrichello, Webber is swerving the whole time towards Massa
Nope not even remotely the same. Webber was already moving right towards the wall, before he even attempted the pass you can see there is no room as Massa needs to cross the line to overtake. Rubens has over a car width gap. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I literally have no idea how you could think that Webber is somehow endangering Massa to the same level as Schumi endangered Barrichello. Do you have good vision? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The real difference is MS is simply wasting his time and pushed Barrichello against the wall because he's pissed off he is now useless. Webber on the other hand was actually racing ... While MS was once brilliant, every dog has his day and his days are over as a top flight racing driver. Please take your obvious frustrations out on something and somebody else ... Pete
